This is pretty much my go to casual look; I have reignited my love for trainers, so for me, comfort and style need to go hand in hand. I am also always cold so the whole layered thing is great for me.
A statement coat is one of my favourite looks to wear; I love a longline, chic and classic coat that is the outfit instead of being something I am wearing just to stay warm.
This New Look coat was a bargain and a half at only £25 and I have worn it to death so far – huge thumbs up. The layered look works so well for casual and dressy and I like the idea of throwing together various fabrics and textures.
A striped top is a wardrobe essential in my eyes; wear as I have done here with my trusty jeans and trainers or pair up with a knee length pencil skirt and killer heels. Warehouse have some gorgeous striped tops in right now in a range of colours and styles so check them out if you need one for your wardrobe!
The shirt is oversized and great underneath a coat or on its own as a kinda shirt jacket. The bag was one of my Black Friday purchases for last year and I love love love it! I had my eye on it for quite a while and I love the nod to Valentino; chic with a hint of grunge about it.
Also a big thank you to Theo Georgio for making my hair look pretty damn decent for a change!!
