Next certainly rock my boat when it comes to fashion; if you haven’t seen all their ‘new in’ bits on the website then get looking! But now, you know as I get closer to the 30 mark (insert terrified and stressed emoji here!) I do tend to look at the old homeware bits and if I’m honest, I do get a little bit excited over them!
Buying home stuff for your first house or flat is a lot of fun, and waaaay over any budget you originally set – sorry bank balance. But you don’t need to spend a lot or add shed loads to make huge changes; sometimes it’s subtle furnishings that make all the difference you need.
So I visited the brand new Next which has opened by me and can honestly say that every time I have gone in I have spent money….
I picked up this gorgeous grey, ombre, 100% cotton throw for just £25 which was exactly what I have been looking for as I am particularly fussy with the fabric of most throws; I don’t like fleecy ones or ones that just malt over everything!
I also picked up these grey cushions (can you sense a theme in terms of my favourite colour for interiors here…) and they were only £8 each for both the cushion and cover; they are a good size and super comfortable.
One home bit that I really love from Next are their Reed Diffusers. Firstly, I love that they are named after places around the world and the range of scents is great, definitely something for everyone. I had Milan before but this time picked up Antigua which has a very fruity and citrus scent to it: ‘A tropical fruity aroma that blends juicy mango with sun drenched papaya & fresh pineapple’. At £15 each for 170ml, these last well (aims to last up to 12 weeks) and look great; minimal and chic so can easily fit in with any décor. They have a strong scent; you can smell it every time you walk into the room which in my opinion is exactly that you want from a reed diffuser.
