It is no shock that this outfit contains skinny jeans, boots and a statement coat; yup I’m staying strong on my go to style faves! I am drawn to boots and a statement coat like a moth to a flame; ultimately I am going to end up buying them…
However the focus of this outfit isn’t my coat or boots, it is my beaut of a Kate Spade Handbag; and yes this is the one I bought in April in New York (so technically not new…) but I am still yet to use as it is so pretty and gorgeous that I am terrified of ruining it! But now I think I am finally ready, ready to show of my baby to the world and not have a complete meltdown if anything or anyone touches it…!
I am a huge Kate Spade fan anyway; I also have another cross body bag in black and softer leather which you have no doubt already seen splashed all over this blog. I just love the classic and chic styles; they won’t go out of fashion and there are so many to choose from that no matter what style or colour you need, Kate Spade are probably rocking it already. This one is the Cedar Street Maise which I picked up a little cheaper over in the states. It is a really great size as I can fit all my essentials in (purse, phone, keys, umbrella, small camera, lipstick etc) and I wanted something a little brighter in colour but something that still worked with my wardrobe; this cornflower kinda blue is perfect for me.
I think if you are going to spend money on a designer bag it needs to be something that won’t go out of fashion next season and one that only goes with a teeny amount of your wardrobe; if you’re splashing the cash then you want to get your money’s worth!
