Ok, I think summer in the UK may have finally hit…. Here’s hoping I haven’t just jinxed the last few days of sun!
But yes, it’s about time but the weather here finally got it’s sh*t together, hurrah!
When temperatures start to hit the late twenties it can be really difficult to dress for work without looking like you’ve just stepped off a plane from Ibiza (not the best office attire to be taken seriously in…) or if you are one of those who just hates, under any circumstance, getting their legs out, or the main reason being you haven’t had a chance to get a wax or spray tan appointment yet and those pasty, prickly legs are just not ready to be seen in real life yet.
So my advice? Opt for the lightweight, baggy trouser. Personally I wanted the wide leg look for this summer but if that isn’t quite right for your shape you can get them in a straight or peg leg style too. They are loose, light, comfortable but still stylish. Team up with wedges or flats, a shirt or simple plain tee. I actually think they look really chic and are so easy to dress up or down.
I picked these up as yet another part to my latest New Look sale order, managing to bag them for a mere £10.
