The Bodysuit – The 90s Trend I’m Loving

The Bodysuit – The 90s Trend I’m Loving 1

I remember as a child being forced to wear bodysuits; back then they were not cool, a right faff and always teamed up with a pair of ski pants (really hoping I’m not showing my age too much with that reference…) and just generally not the coolest of looks for a child.

Like with most 90s trends, the bodysuit seems to have come back into our lives and this time around I am definitely trying to embrace it. There are loads of styles to choose from and you can go for a more casual look or quite a glam look depending on which you prefer. I have two bodysuits, one more glam (look out for that one soon!) and the other is this one from Dorothy Perkins which is now in the sale at only £7!! – a more casual, beach look vibe going on.

I have paired mine with ripped denim shorts and heels purely to give a bit of a different look, but flip flops and a skirt or shorts would look great.

I like this one because of the fabric, its 100% cotton and just so comfortable! Bodysuits are actually pretty great as there is none of that constantly untucking and tucking back in going on, and they help to give you a really nice silhouette.

My shorts are part of my New Look sale order (see the first post here feat the £13 maxi!) and I picked them up for £9 and the belt came with, so pretty good! They are the ‘Mom’ style so not too short, not butt cheeks on show, and slightly high waisted.

Starsky is always one for the limelight – note to self, outfit shooting when Starsky is about is not the simplest of activities…
