It’s clear that I love shoes, hell I bought four pairs in one day last week! But in particular I have a soft spot for boots; always have and always will. They are practical yet bloody gorgeous.
These over the knee beauties you may remember I picked up from Miss Guided in the Black Friday sales last year; I was a little unsure at first, you know would I get my wear out of them, and would I look like a bad version of Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman… Buuut I can safely say I have definitely had my wear, they are one of my favourite pairs of boots and I haven’t yet been told I look like a bad version of Julia Roberts – win win!
I wear these quite often with my skinny jeans or oversized t-shirt dresses (see previous outfits here, here and here), but last week I picked up another rarity for my wardrobe; a skirt, and a mini skirt at that! I was looking for an A line skirt, that wasn’t too girly, ridiculously short and was high waisted. And hey presto, H&M delivered for me! This navy, cord A line skirt was exactly what I was looking for and I picked it up for £14.99 which is pretty damn good. I like it because as is it cord it works well for both summer and winter.
Now as I said I don’t usually opt for skirts (proof is on my Instagram!), especially with OTK boots but I actually really like the look. I kept my top pretty simple so the emphasis was my bottom half but to be honest I will most likely swap for a shirt instead. Teamed up with my favourite Kate Spade bag?! Canny go wrong.
