I am definitely a fan of most things matte and Bourjois, and so when the Bourjois Air Mat Foundation came out, as usual I wait for the hype to do die down a little then give it a go. My skin is normal to combination but I tend to avoid anything too glowy or dewy as it’s not really my style.
The packaging on this is great as it’s in a tube and very light so perfect for travelling, and I picked up the shade 01 Ivory Rose which is a pretty good match for me.
I didn’t quite get on with this foundation as much as I was hoping (insert sad face here!) and my high hopes were dashed a little. I found it quite hard to blend in; it took a lot of work to ensure everything was blended and there were no harsh lines as the texture is quite thick.
I think this foundation is too matte for my skin, so if you have quite oily skin instead of dry or combination it may be a much better fit as it really is rather matte so I would suggest giving it a go. It gives a medium coverage which if you can get it to blend well could be built up.
I love the idea of this product but it doesn’t quite agree with me and my skin I’m afraid!
