Christmas Nails

Christmas Nails 1

As the Christmas parties are in full swing and the day itself is just around the corner, as well as ticking things off the Christmas list I am also thinking about the perfect outfits for the next couple of weeks.

I paint my nails regularly as I think it gives that extra something to an outfit and shows you’ve put the extra effort in. So when it comes to the festive period, it is the perfect opportunity to have fun with your nails; having said that I like to keep mine quite chic and simple so here are four polishes I would recommend for this time of year; all on budget, all blooming gorgeous.

Maybelline Super Stay Gel Colour in 19 Golden Brown and 06 Deep Red: Two gorgeous colours and both last really well. I wear the red all year round as red is truly my favourite and go to choice when it comes to nails and lips. The Golden Brown is more of a rose gold colour to be honest, but so pretty and a nice choice if you want something slightly more understated. At £4.49 you canny go wrong!

Bourjois 1 Seconde Nail Polish in 34 Violine Hypnotique and 20 Perle Illusion: Again bang on price and very easy to apply. The brush is well shaped and two coats is enough. I wouldn’t say they dry in 1 second (unfortunately!) but they do dry quickly. Both shades are quite pearl/metallic like and would look gorgeous worn together or separate.

Bravo to Maybelline and Bourjois – affordable products that work! All of these shades will definitely be making an appearance on my nails over the next few weeks; they are also good stocking fillers too!
