Again last week I headed to London for another press day on yet again what was one of the hottest days ever! Well in the last ten years to be precise.
I was very excited to attend the John Lewis Christmas Press Day as they have so much stock and there is always something for everyone! Homeware, jewellery, candles, sweets – everything you need for the festive season.
After taking a walk through (they set it out like a distribution line) and after posing with a giant sprout (I kid you not) I started to stumble across some of their gorgeous gifts for this Christmas.
I sampled a rather delicious cocktail from Tipplesworth (such a cute name!) who have some amazing travelling cocktail cases! They look like a small suitcase and the designs are just too cute. If you have a cocktail lover in your household this could be right up their street.
Candles are always a good gift idea and I kindly received one from Skandinavisk. After smelling all of the scents I went for RO as it was light and fresh. The packaging is really chic so they look like really nice gifts; you can pick up Scent Diffusers too.
If you love the smell of Christmas; you know oranges, cranberry’s, spices, Christmas trees, the fresh outdoors; then I would definitely recommend taking a look at the products from Jormaepourri. I made my own tree decoration using dried oranges, cinnamon sticks and green orange slices, then scented with ‘Christmas in a bottle’ oil. This is such a cute gift to give for Christmas and its purse friendly too. My mum was rather pleased with hers and has it up already, in July….
Next I headed over to Spun Candy to create my own candy lollipop – it’s definitely harder than it looks. Spun Candy not only sell lots of pretty looking and delicious candy but they also run workshops and classes too. And if you need candy for that special occasion (yes even weddings!) you can head to Spun Candy and get your candy bespoke!
Jewellery is always a good option for the females in your life and even better when it can be personalised. Merci Maman very kindly gave me one of their bestselling silver necklaces and I had it engraved too! The products are really lovely, very simple and chic with something for both men and women.
So there you have it; a sneak peek and some helpful ideas for Christmas! So how many sleeps to go?
