I have been rather good when it comes to spending lately, I have only picked up key necessities so a little pat on the back for myself there! But I thought I would share a little haul post so you can see what has made it into my basket.
I received a gift card for the Gracechurch Centre in Sutton Coldfield so I picked up a couple of bits from there, but having this also stopped me from spending as there was no point buying anything from anywhere else as it would cost me money!
I picked up a new maxi dress and shirt both from New Look as I love shirts and practically live in them, and I needed a new maxi dress but one that wasn’t too long so I could wear with flats. I love the maxi dress as it is well fitted, a good length and is a change from my usual prints.
The shirt is simple, soft and chic; perfect! I love the colour too, great for the warmer months but when you still need a cover up. Shirts are just an all year rounder in my wardrobe; wear with jeans, shorts, culottes or skirts; perfect.
I was in desperate need of a new phone; I am so lazy when it comes to phones, it takes me ages to actually go out and get a new one but I’m glad I did. I went for the HTC M8 – I have always had HTC phones; I really like them, they don’t cost the earth and I am used to Android.
Skincare wise I have been loving the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish; it is a cult favourite of so many and it’s easy to see why. I think I am nearing the end of my bottle so went to buy a new one. I picked this set up for about £40 as Boots had a 10% offer on and I needed some new moisturiser too so thought I would treat myself. These are great for gifts or just a general treat, and you can choose the right kit for your skin type. I chose the Normal/Combination Daly Essential Kit which includes; Cleanse and Polish (100ml), Instant Boost Skin Tonic (200ml), Skin Repair Moisturiser (50ml) and the Gentle Face Exfoliator (50ml). I haven’t tried the others products yet but I will be cracking on with that soon so look out for a review!
