I love a good challenge and so was delighted when George at Asda challenged me to choose one item and dress it three ways with a budget of £60.
I opted for these gorgeous ripped jeans at a bargain £16. Jeans are always difficult to buy and I haven’t had any from George before so wasn’t sure what to expect, especially with the fit. I have to say I am seriously impressed. They are soft, fit amazingly well and look much more expensive than £16! I like that they are higher waisted than what I’m used to and the rips aren’t over the top, they are just right.
Outfit 1: I paired the jeans with this beautiful Kimono also from George. It’s the perfect cover up and summer jacket. I really like the fit and you can wear it so many ways; with jeans, over a dress, with shorts or over a bikini. Whether it’s casual or dressed up, this kimono works. I paired up with strappy heels this time to take it from daytime to evening.
Outfit 2: The jeans are really versatile so I went for the navy cricket jumper this time and a pair of simple flip flops; always handy to have in your summer wardrobe! I have wanted a jumper like this for a while but I didn’t want a white one so I was happy to find this in navy. It is great for the chilly months but also in the unpredictable British weather…

Outfit 3: A simple white shirt is such a good wardrobe staple. Again it can be dressed up or down, but I love wearing mine with jeans. The distressed jeans go really well, and to top it off I added these gorgeous black and gold sandals from George to. I love sandals like this as in the hotter months I don’t always fancy walking around in heels, so some glammed up sandals are just the thing.
If you haven’t already checked out the new collections at George get yourself on to their website! The clothes are always affordable, and as you can see from this post, versatile too. There is no need to spend a fortune on your summer wardrobe, just go for things that work well in your existing wardrobe.
