Beauty Treats – MAC and Kiko

Mac and Kiko 1

I headed to London last week with the boyfriend to celebrate
our 5 year anniversary and obviously I set a little time aside for a spot of
I decided to treat myself to a MAC palette as I always hear how good
their eyeshadows are and I really love their mascaras and blushers so it’s about
time I added more to my collection.
I decided to create my own palette as I always tend to find
a couple of shades that I never use
when buying pre made up palettes. That’s what is fantastic about MAC; they
understand that people want to choose what they buy down to every detail. You
can buy the palettes in different sizes (I went for the four) and add whichever
colours you like.
For the palette and four eyeshadows it costs £45. That may
be more than some expect but you know you are getting colours that you love and
will use, and the formulas are
amazing. You don’t need a lot as the pigmentation is great, the colours go on
so well and stay put.

I chose Woodwinked, Coppering, Charcoal Brown (I would
advise having a matte in there) and All that glitters. I love my palette and I recommend you go and treat yourself too J

I also headed to Kiko and picked up another on
their Long Lasting Eyeshadow Sticks in 37, a gorgeous red shade. This is my
third one of these; the formulas are great, they really stay put until you want
them off.
I also bought two concealers; the Natural Concealer in 01 (I
have it already in a darker shade) and the Full Coverage Concealer in 01.
Kiko always deliver and their products are so affordable so
I suggest taking a look.
