New Treats

Over the last few weeks I have picked up little bits here
and there when it comes to skincare and beauty so I thought I would share four
products that I having been using from day one and am rather glad I purchased!
uemura Eyelash Curler
– I had read many rave reviews about these but it

took me a while to take the plunge. I previously went for more of budget options
with the likes of Muji (really liked these), Kiko and Models Own (not a fan of
MO I’m afraid). These came in at £20 and I picked them up from Space NK when I
was Harrogate. I am so glad I finally took the plunge! I have no idea what it
is that makes these so different but they just are. I find them easier to grip,
they don’t pull my lashes and (most importantly!) they give a good curl.
Hugo Boss Nuit
– I was in need of a new fragrance but I didn’t want to pay over the odds. I like
to have a collection of perfumes so I can choose what takes my fancy on a daily
basis. I really like this perfume; I personally would wear it all day and night
but it is one I would imagine people would use for night more. It is a floral
fruity scent with top notes of white peach and wet aldehydes. The packaging is smart
too, not too bulky, very classy.
and Glory Solar Powder Bronzer
– Another product I had heard rave

reviews for and took a little too long to get on the bandwagon with! And guess
what? I love it! Why oh why did I wait so
long?! As someone with rather a pale skin tone I am always slightly worried
when it comes to bronzer as no one wants the tangoed look. But with this I find
it applies well (I swirl my brush around the middle mixing both shades and
apply in a number 3 fashion on each side of my face), it’s not overly bronze on
my face and blends in well, just adding a subtle glow. Having two shades is
good too; you could use the darker one for contouring or just having two helps
with various skin tones.
Multitasker Complexion Brush
– I picked this up from my recent trip to

New York. I needed a simple face brush; I actually use this brush to apply my
Solar Powder Bronzer. I like the size, shape of the handle and the bristles.
They are soft, easy to wash and the right size; I find I can easily control the
product when using this one.
So I hope you like my
top treats, and they give you a little inspiration on what to treat yourself to
