Style Spring Clean Your Wardrobe with Oasis at House of Fraser – My top 5 picks.

I was recently approached to write a post about the fabulous new
A/W collection from Oasis available at House of Fraser. Obviously I jumped at
the chance; a popular, on trend high street giant and a longstanding,
department store with everything you could possibly need under one roof!
If you are anything like me and have already started lusting over
the gorgeous new wardrobe fillers already hitting the high street then take
note and have a gander at what Oasis have to offer at House of Fraser.
The collection is fresh, new and suitable for a younger
; although I think many people of a range of ages could wear a
variety of the items which is why it appeals so easily to so many women. It is
affordable, versatile and up to date with what we are seeing coming from the
catwalks and magazines. It aims to bring you key items that can be taken from
day to night, with bold patterns, prints and A/W colours such as grey, navy and
, making an appearance.
I definitely advise buying investment pieces that come back year
after year but there is always a need to treat yourself to a few new items
every season just to make sure you stay on trend.
Here I have picked my top 5 from the new collection. I admit it
was a struggle to narrow it down to only five!
I went for this jacket it as it is little
different and a great twist on a leather jacket. The knitted
front will make it lovely and cosy but still adding serious style. It is a
great alternative to a leather jacket, blazer or oversized cardigan. Team with
a pair of skinny jeans and biker boots for day, and wear over a fitted dress
with heels for night.
I love jumpers at the minute and
this is a great look. Grey is always on trend for A/W but the stylish leopard
print collar adds a little glam to it. This is perfect for work or play. Team
up with tailored, skinny trousers and pumps for work, and for night go with a
mini skirt, tights and heels.

A/W usually means one thing for
sure in our wardrobes – the work Christmas party. Yes I know it’s a little
early to mention the ‘C’ word but get out there early to find your perfect
party wear. I chose this dress because it is stylish, chic and classic. Peplum
has been huge this year, flattering many women’s shapes. Lace always adds a
touch of glam, and black, well you can’t go wrong there can you. This is a
great investment piece as it won’t go out of style and can be worn for numerous
This item is again a little different but
great to add to your wardrobe. The leather look is again very on trend and a
great look for A/W. The colour is versatile and the change of fabric will mix
up your outfits. Team up with different fabrics such as wool, cashmere or silk;
and go for pumps, a blouse and a jumper (layering is very popular this season).
Again another outfit which can be used for both work and play!
When buying any new wardrobe
fillers you always need to invest in some great accessories. I love this clutch
bag, especially the print! Clutch bags are always popular; I think they add
instant glamour and this clutch would work perfectly with the Leopard Collard
Crew Top. Brighten up a simple, plain outfit using accessories such as this clutch;
this works perfectly for those who are a little unsure about prints and bold
colours. Another item which will stay on trend and can be used over and over
So there you have my top five, I hope you all approve!
If your wardrobe needs a little spring clean for A/W, then take a
